Through hard work, diversity, and a creative prowess all her own, screen gem Elaine Hendrix is said to have earned her stripes by legendary film critic Roger Ebert, having over 100 film, television, and stage credits under her belt.

Although her resume reads like a Hollywood encyclopedia, Elaine is best known for her dynamic roles in such films as Disneys The Parent Trap, Inspector Gadget 2, SNLs Superstar, What the Bleep Do We Know? and the cult classic Romy & Michelles High School Reunion. Her television projects include Castle, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Miami, Rules of Engagement, and two years on the critically acclaimed CBS series Joan of Arcadia.

In addition to her mainstream body of work, Elaine has an impressive list of diverse, independent features that mark her as a true artist, deserving of career longevity and critical praise. She just completed production on Low Fidelity directed by Devon Gumemrsall, and in just the next year Elaine will release in theaters, television and on DVD: Dear Lemon Lima, The Violation, Spork, Hated, Girls Girls Girls, Witness Insecurity and Fading of the Cries. When this highly demanded talent isnt working in front of or behind cameras, she’s focusing on her greatest passion, the humane treatment of animals. Elaine spends a great deal of time traveling to rescue, lobby, educate and build new habitats on their behalf and is a founding member of the new nonprofit organization Animal Rescue Corps. Launched in January 2011, ARCs mission is to end animal suffering through direct and compassionate action and to inspire responsibility towards animals.

Elaine is an annual Honorary Committee Member of the Genesis Awards presented by The Humane Society of the United States, and hosts the monthly cable adoption show Pets 90210. Additionally, she received the Guardian Award at the National Animal Rights Conference for her animal work as well as numerous other awards and honors for both her humanitarian and acting work, including two Telly Awards, two festival Best Actress awards, the key to the city of Tarrent, Alabama, and the Founder’s Award at the Secret City Film Festival. She is also an active member of Women in Film, is on the Advisory Board of the Feel Good Film Festival, and the Mayor of St. Louis, Missouri officially proclaimed December 4th Elaine Hendrix Day, giving her the key to the city.
